Amalgam Waste Recycling Kit (5 Gallons)

Description

Safely dispose of and recycle chairside amalgam separators with the use of a 5 gallon dental waste recycling kit.

Product Details:

• Designed for the shipment of used amalgam separators. NOT designed for the disposal of Sharps materials.
• Capacity: 5 gallons.
• Holds: 5 to 6 units per container
• External Dimensions: 11.97″ x 10.44″
• Includes: container, liner, instructions, and prepaid return shipping. A recycling certificate is mailed after receiving the container.

Instructions for Use:

1. Remove the lid by pressing up on the red locking button (on the side of the lid) and turn the lid counter-clockwise.
2. Then place a polyethylene bag inside the recycling bucket.
3. Put the contaminated amalgam debris inside the bag in the bucket.
4. Securely close the bucket after each additional waste deposit.
5. When bucket is full, add 2 oz. of bleach to the contents and wrap the liner in a tight knot. Make sure to seal the lid of the container tightly (nothing should be leaking out of it).
6. Place recycle into the original box and tape closed. Attach the prepaid UPS return shipping label provided onto the outside of the box and call for a pick-up or drop-off at the nearest location.
